Great North Run training 3 – rise and shine (read: cry)



I had the idea of waking up at 5am to do this run, as I finish work late every other Monday which means getting home after 7. I did not feel this was my best idea when I dragged myself out of bed at 5 15. Nevertheless, after 40 mins of “warming up”, i.e. Drinking coffee and playing NHL17, I went out and did it. And boy did I feel good for it! Such a lovely sunny morning and considering we were having a mini heat wave, I got it in while it was cool.
